DESCRIPTION:Gathering on the Green presents an intimate evening of music and conversation with John Oates\, one half of pop music's legendary group Daryl Hall and John Oates\, at the James Barr Performing Arts Center at Homestead High School in Mequon.\n\nSince the formation of the duo in the early 1970s\, Daryl Hall and John Oates have recorded 21 albums which have sold over 80 million units\, making them the most successful duo in rock history. They have scored ten #1 ecords and 29 Top 40 hits\, including "Kiss on my List\,"  "Maneater\," "I Can't Go for That" and "She's Gone."\n\nWhen not touring with H&O\, John performs hiw own shoes featuring material from his solo career and Daryl Hall & John Oates\, along with the stories behind his great body of work. John will play some of the mjusic that has served as such a large part of the soundtrack of our lives. He'll talk about  his life\, his music a nd the stories behind the music. You'll have an opportunity to talk with John during the Q&A portion of the evening.
